How will we grow Leaders?

At 10KFAM, we have the pleasure of leading two distinct communities of worship leaders through Worship School and Mere Worship. We are also uniquely positioned to offer Strategic Support to churches and ministries in their worship contexts.

Worship School

18-month leadership school

Worship School is our fully accredited, 18-month leadership school. It is an in-depth discipleship process where we coach worship leaders who lead songs to become worship pastors who lead people. We’ve graduated more than 400 students who are presently located in nearly 20 countries. Our alumni are leading worship each weekend for more than a quarter of a million people around the world.

Mere Worship

Online learning community

Mere Worship is our subscription-based online community of worship leaders who gather around content that is separate from the Worship School curriculum, while still sharing a common foundation. Mere Worship focuses on the paradigms and practices of effective worship leadership through on-demand video lectures, online collaboration, and weekly or monthly office hours with Aaron Keyes or another worship pastor from our community.

Strategic Support

Consulting, placement, events

With decades of experience in worship pastoring and discipleship, our team is uniquely equipped to offer Consulting Services for Pastors and Worship Leaders looking for more focused help with either their own leadership or congregational and culture issues. We also have a network of highly trained Worship Pastors through our alumni, and we love getting to connect with churches to help with worship and training for teams and special events.

Next WORSHIP SCHOOL track begins MAY 8-12, 2023

Rooted & Renegade

10.05.2022

Many of today’s churches tend to fall into the extreme categories of being defined as EITHER rooted/traditional OR renegade/charismatic, but how beautiful would it be to have congregations worshiping God across the full spectrum?

Q: How do I pick songs for a specific passage of scripture my pastor is speaking on?

06.03.2022

A: I’ll never understand a worship set that has nothing to do with the accompanying sermon. It is such a wasted opportunity when we arbitrarily pick songs that people may like yet don’t serve to orient us towards where the pastor is about to take us, or don’t pick up from where the sermon lands […]

Q: Should I talk between songs?

06.03.2022

A: Look at the Psalms. Some of them have superscriptions before verse 1. Some don’t. Some have built-in interjections like, “Selah.” I like this because, sometimes, the last thing you need to hear, as a worshiper, is someone talking. But sometimes, it’s exactly what you most need. How do you know when’s which? As a […]

06.04.2020

A: Here are some of my favorite openers that I’ve used consistently over the years. I’d love to hear your additions! There is a Savior (Aaron Williams) Awesome is He (Luke & Anna Hellebronth) Creed (Rich Mullins) Make a Way (Jon Egan) Everlasting Joy (Jon Egan) Only King Forever (Elevation) Call Upon the Lord (Elevation) […]

Garageband for Songwriters – Part One

01.08.2020

Garageband, whether you like it or not, has ushered in thousands of new songwriters, producers, composers, and all-around musicians. Apple is probably surprised at how predominant it has become for both amateur and professionals. It is incredibly useful and with each new version, becomes more and more intricate. It can be used as a quick […]
